Why most free VPNs are a bad idea in Nigeria

With typical "free" VPNs:

  • ✗ They sell your browsing data to advertisers — that's how they make money
  • ✗ Most are slow or throttled to push you toward paid plans
  • ✗ No reliable privacy policy — your data is their product
  • ✗ Speed is throttled for streaming — video buffers constantly

With AdGuard VPN free plan in Nigeria:

  • ✓ Zero data selling — funded by paid subscribers, not your privacy
  • ✓ Works on MTN, Glo, Airtel, and 9mobile — same protocol as paid plan
  • ✓ No speed throttling — same fast servers as paid plan
  • ✓ No time limit — 3GB resets every month, forever
